Haven't been able to post anything since last month 'due to building work, illness and a whole host of other unpredictable factors. Did a quick Hawkeye sketch a couple days ago.

Page 3
Panel 20:
The rest of the crew are sitting around a table playing
poker. The people playing poker are Domney, Casey,
Vincent, Shinsu and Bella. They are
sitting on a round table, smoking and drinking. Casey is the only one in
costume but without the head, the rest are all in normal clothes. They are
talking over each other and about their boss. It comes in to Domney talking
halfway through about their boss, Pippa.
Vincent: -So I said to her, if you don’t shut the fuck
up, I;m gonna kick you so hard you’ll be wearing you’re arse for hat!!!
All: HAHAHAHAHAHA….
Bella: You never said that Piss-cent, you’re all talk, I
bet you just went all timid, yes ma’am, what ever you say ma’am!
All: HAHAHAHAHAHA….
Panel 21:
This time it focuses on Shinsu.
Shinsu: 4 Down…No I am with Vincent on this, she’s knows
nothing of what happens here. In my time I’ve never seen her. What does she
even look like?
Panel 22:
Goes to Vincent:
Vincent: That’s a shit call, see this instead. I’ve seen
her once, she’s like a phantom, I swear.
She ripped into me cause I turned up to a corporate event higher than 747.
She’s got these bug eyes, with a really skinny face, like Imohtep in The Mummy before he became human! But she’s chunky
dude, like orca style.
Panel 23:
Goes back to Shinsu and Casey. Hal walks past in the back
ground followed by Brand.
Shinsu: That is weird, I heard she’s into the domination
stuff with men.
Casey: No not with me but with women, she likes to
control.
Shinsu: How do you know?
Domney: Through the grapevine isn’t it darling?!
Panel 24:
Goes back to Bella and Domney.
Domney: I heard it was farmyard animals she likes to
dominate, a giant horse…hahaha!
Bella: Eww that is sick! She lives in that big pink house
out on Kings Avenue, stand there on a Friday night, you’ll see all sorts of
shit, hookers, dealers, pimps, bulls, suits, it’s a carnival all night. She
literally just orders stuff to her front doorstep. She just lies on her huge
turntable Hefner bed.
Panel 25:
Goes back to Casey with Hal walking past in the background
this time with a baseball bat. Shinsu is halfway up of her chair.
Casey: How do you know what its like on a Friday night?
Shinsu: I’m going to drop the children off at the pool! (toilet)
Panel 26:
Goes back to Bella.
Bella: Er well….
Panel 27:
Shoots back to Vincent:
Vincent: How do you know she likes domination stuff
Casey-
Bella (offscreen): Exactly!
Vincent: More importantly where’s the halfling going with
the Acme baseball bat? Brand, where’s he going?
Panel 28:
It goes to Brand who is now facing the poker table:
Brand: He got into an argument with this Bill Gates
looking dude, I tried to stop him, but now he’s going after him, with a bat!
Come on…help.
Panel 29:
Goes back to Vincent and Bella:
Vincent: Oh this I gotta see, a midget fighting!!!
Bella: Yes…come on Hal, fuck the geek up!!!
Vincent: This will be good…
Panel 30:
Shinsu come out of the toilet and sees the room empty.
Shinsu: Ah, everyone goes, how sweet. They left the money
as well.
Panel 31:
Shows just a hand of Shinsu picking up the money from the
table, a couple of fifty’s.
(ALL THE PANELS ABOVE, NO DISCERNIBLE PATTERN, OVERLAPPING
AS IF TALKING OVER EACH OTHER)

Did a Deadpool pic yesterday...started off as a quick practice sketch and turned into this...
Hardest part was the right hand with the gun as the arm wasn't falling into a natural position, so I had to keep rubbing it out and start again until I got it right. The other problem was the guns 'cause I wasn't sure how to shade it and allow the shape to still come out.
Below is an outline of the pic and the finished piece.

Chapter 2, Page 1.
Panel 1:
Opens up with Hal dancing in costume, facing the reader and
at the same time he is singing a song.
Song: Sunny days, Fuzzy Days, Welcome in the sunny rays,
Oh come with us today, On to a journey far away
Panel 2:
This is similar to the panel before except he is in a
different position, still dancing and singing. Although this time you can see
some kids / parents in front of him, so he is performing, Can assume that the
lyrics above still apply.
Panel 3:
Close up of his eyes as he looks to the side and can see
Brand sitting on a park bench, stretched out on the bench. His mask is sitting
on the bench next to him. He’s puffing away on his weed, and is just strung
out.
Panel 4:
It goes back to Hal, who is looking back at Brand, he is
thinking ‘motherfucker…’
Panel 5:
It shoots off to Christophe who is posing in a photograph
with another family, mother and two little children. They are all Asian.
Christophe: Say Fuzzy smiles!
Family: Fuzzy smiles!
A flash goes off in the background.
Panel 6:
The father thanks Christophe.
Father: Thank you, thank you very much.
Panel 7:
Christophe waves them off, over the shoulder, as they walk
away.
Christophe: Ah…de rien monsieur…
(sees him waving)
Christophe: (mutters under breath)…is my job to please
sub-human, slant eyed noodle eating, communisme basterds!
Customer: Excuse me…
Christophe: Mon Dieu…
Panel 8:
It cuts to a Latino woman, very pretty and quite young, with
her sister with her. She is standing in front in a revealing top, looking
straight at the viewer.
Latino Woman: Excuse me…my sister here would like a
picture with you.
Christophe: Oh well of course madame. And you would like
one also?
Latino Woman: Hehe…well maybe just my sister, I’m not one
for cartoons.
Panel 9:
Close up of the Christophe and the Latino woman as they are
now closer and talking in hushed voices.
Christophe: Well maybe un without the suit? Just moi and
vous.
Latino Woman: From France? I love the French language
Christophe: Well, merci senorita, there are many other
things I do the French way.
Panel 10:
The Latino woman gives a wry smile.

Page 3:
Panel 21:
Panel 21:
Double doors open as they file out,
from a behind shot. The walk out is staggered, almost silhouette like.
Panel 22:
Shows the stage they will come
onto, with the logo, the background. The door is open at the back and they are
walking through, about two/three of them have come in, as the rest follow
through.
Panel 23:
An overview shot of the crowd which
shows the general public screaming and shouting. There are also balloons,
banners, and posters etc which are in the mix.
Panel 24:
Final panel is split into 8
different sections, which shows the characters in their alter egos costumes. At
the bottom we’ll do a banner which says their stage name along with their real
name.
Last page of Chapter 1. the page had fewer panels than pages 1 & 2. Panel 3 was probably the hardest 'cause of the shadows and the and the angle from where they're coming out from.
The fourth panel (the crowd of kids) was going to be smaller originally but I was getting really bored doing it, 'cause it was a panel full of smiling little brats but then I decided to put in some pissed off kids. After a conversation with Harminder, he suggested I should've put in some cartoon characters, so I just decided to fill out the whole panel with kids and hide in some characters from TV and film on there. Some are in plain sight, like the South Park characters and some who're harder to find, like John Connor.

Page 2 script:
Panel 10:
This time it goes to the other end
of the table, there is a women standing in front of another woman with her back
to her. This involves Casey and Domney. Domney has her suit halfway down and is
standing in her bra. She is very pretty and curvy. Casey is standing behind
her, she is very big and built.
Domney: Casey dear, can you zip
me up?
Panel 11:
Casey starts zipping her up from
behind.
Domney: What are we doing
tonight?
Casey: I’m going to the King’s
Castle tonight, there’s a band on. You can come with or not, but if you come I
don’t want any of your fucking bitching.
Domney: Okay.
Panel 12:
Pulls out a little bit and can see
Christophe and Hal at the end of the table, they are staring at Domney.
Domney: What do you think
they’re talking about?
Casey: Probably about you, why
don’t you cover yourself up instead of walking around like that; everyone
staring at you like you’re piece of meat.
Domney: Well…
Panel 13:
It pulls away looking Domney and
Casey zipping each other up, with Christoff and Hal sitting down. Christoff is
smoking a pipe whilst Hal is watching them. Chrstoff has a swastika on his neck
and is reading a book.
Hal: Is it just me or have
Domney’s twins got bigger?
Christophe: Non, they are same,
it is just, you are petite like Napoleon so it is grande to you.
Hal: Piss off you gay croissant!
Panel 14:
POV shot of Christophe reading a book. It’s a nationalist book, more about preaching
than anything.
Hal: What book you reading?
Christophe: It’s visionary, it
explains why our societe is breeded like dogs instead of the pure way like moi
or Bella.
Hal: Yeah Bella, she’s something
else…
Panel 15:
Bella has her leg on a chair and is
putting on her tights. Shinsu is behind her leg on the chair and is staring at
it. She has tattoo going around her leg.
Panel 16:
Bella sits down on the chair next
to Shinsu, whilst Shinsu is sitting on the chair with her legs apart smoking a
cigarette.
Bella: You like the tat?
Shinsu: Yeah its nice, when did
you get that?
Bella: Last week, I met a
tattooist and he did it, amazing!
Shinsu: How much?
Bella: Don’t know I had no
money, so I slept with him instead; only cost me 5 minutes.
Shinsu: That quick?
Bella: Even quicker, he was done
in a minute, spent the other 4 crying.
Panel 17:
Different shot of Shinsu and Bella,
this time show Shinsu’s back which has a scar going across it.
Bella: How’d did that happen?
Shinsu: Fighting, think this is
bad, you should see the guy that tried to rape me. Turns out he was a skinhead
who was trying to punish me for being Korean. And all I wanted was a good lay.
Panel 18:
Back front shot of them both
sitting on chairs looking at Christophe, still smoking.
Bella: Want a good lay? Ask
Christophe, surprisingly good.
Shinsu: Well I’m Korean, so I
don’t think that’s gonna happen.
Bella: Bullshit…show him any
ethnic set of tits, in his eyes they’re all Aryan.
Panel 19:
This panel shows the door open,
with Brand and Vincent coming in, one after the other. Shinsu is at the bottom
of the page looking back towards them both.
Shinsu: About time, you’re late,
we’re on in 5 minutes.
Vincent: Maybe your five minutes
too early.
Shinsu: What does that even
mean? And what is that smell?
Brand: It’s the smell of a south
American baristas.
Vincent: Hahahaha Add in more swearing.
Panel 20:
Bella: Everyone, let’s go,
they’re ready for us to come.
Vincent: You sure are Bella,
give me 2 minutes (he is off screen but says it anyways)
Bella: Take half an hour, you
still couldn’t do it Vincent.
This page was harder to do than Page 1, the main reason being that there were more characters that were moving around and more dialogue. The plus is that I can work on more character designs. With Bella's tattoo design (panel 6), I was trying to do something sexy and not a big design or too tribal either, so I just went with a mehndi design.

My cousin Harminder wrote a script about the behind the scene antics at a theme park. He's written several chapters which I've started work on. I'm going to put up the summary and script for the first scene he's written and the page I've done underneath.
THE FUZZY FLYING BEARS
A. Guidelines:
- Need to create the alter egos for the theme park
- How many characters and what relationships do they have?
- Length – not sure how long but I think it should be maybe 4-6 pages if that.
- Does it need a theme or a story arc? I think it would be best to develop as it goes.
- Maybe 8 issues
- Types of Humour: obvious pratfalls type, black humour, social commentary type like Bill Hicks/Seinfeld so it might come off as a bit quirky and maybe a bit intelligent or ironic maybe, paradoxical.
B. Characters/Alter Ego No:
1. Domney / AE1 – Female works with Casey, very timid in a
relationship with her, but has a secret side -
2. Casey / AE2 – Female but very butch, likes to fight but
also dominate
3. Vincent / AE3 – Alpha male, temperamental and quick fire
back
4. Shinsu / AE4 – Chinese female with a punk look
5. Brand / AE5 – Indian male, a dope head
6. Bella / AE6 – Alpha female enjoys drugs and men, anyone
always looking for someone with money
7. Christophe / AE7 – French male but is a relaxed Nazi
8. Hal / AE8 – Male is a dwarf who is bi, just wants to get
laid really has a habit of fighting
C. Background Setting:
-
The park is called The Rainbow Dream Land.
-
Their groups is called The Fuzzy Flying Bears
-
They have a rival group is called The Happy Camper Smilers.
Notes. Looks good. Made a couple changes and suggestions. The
dialogue’s got flow and’s interesting. Start to think in terms of page layout
and how you want each page to start and finish.
STORY
Panel 1:
Shows the logo, a unicorn with
animals around them and bears above them with a rainbow over the top of them.
Beneath them is the tagline “Welcome to the happiest place on earth”
Panel 2:
A flame is lit on the end of a
match, dark with the fire glow.
Dialogue 1: Wow that…I mean that
is something.
Dialogue 2: I know it makes you
think what we were doing before…so young, so naïve,
Dialogue 1: Haha…yeah
Panel 3:
The panel pulls out to two guys,
Brand and Vincent. Vincent is watching Brand, who is smoking a J, the smoke is
rising above.
Panel 4:
Close up of the J, which Vincent is
now smoking.
Vincent: Oh yes…that’ll get me
through the day!
Brand: This is the more potent
but ever rare Peruvian weed, mixed in with 85% pure Columbian weed and finally
some Chilean herbs. It’s the south of America baby.
Vincent: Shit…who needs to
travel when you can get this man?
Brand: I know, a puff of this
and you’re floating on the clouds of the Andes.
Vincent: Genius
Panel 5:
The panel pulls back to them
standing over a table which is covered in beer bottles, some matches,
cigarettes, and some powder on a table. A door is behind them with a circle
window. Vincent is still smoking.
Brand: I think we’re on a bit
dude…lets’ hurry up.
Vincent: Cool
Brand: And save some of it man,
that’s the last bit and my dealer’s on holiday.
Panel 6:
Close up of the ashtray, with
Vincent stubbing out the J, slowly.
Vincent: Your dealer’s on
holiday, how does that work?
Panel 7:
Now they are walking through a
corridor, the door with the glass circle is behind them. They are wearing their
costumes and carrying their heads in their arms. Vincent is walking down with a
beer in his hand whilst Brand is smoking a cigarette.
Brand: Well I mean, he needed a
holiday, I guess, the work was too much for him.
Vincent: But he’s a drug dealer,
he hasn’t got to clock in and out, have lunch breaks, staff meetings. They get
up when they want, work when they want, watch TV and bum around. If it gets too
stressful, just smoke some herbs, problem solved. Maybe
add in a comparison with their jobs…like how the dealer doesn’t have entertain
kids all day or some shit like that…not a big essay though…
Panel 8:
Similar shot to the above maybe
their arms are in different position, but they are getting closer to the front,
so they are bigger objects.
Brand: Yeah but you don’t know
my dealer, he runs a pretty tight ship. He has a padlock on his front door and
everything
Vincent: Where’s he gone
anyways?
Brand: Dam!
Panel 9:
This panel shows the door open,
with Brand and Vincent coming in, one after the other. Shinsu is at the bottom
of the page looking back towards them both.
Shinsu: About time, you’re late,
we’re on in 5 minutes.
Vincent: Maybe your five minutes
too early.
Shinsu: What does that even
mean? And what is that smell?
Brand: It’s the smell of a south
American baristas.
Vincent: Hahahaha Add in more swearing.
Chapter 1, Page 1. I haven't put the name of the theme park on the on the first panel as I've done it on Photoshop and I'm only displaying the pencil work I've done.
In terms of character design I gave Brand and Vincent mid-nineties looks. Brand's wearing a Tool t-shirt 'cause I was listening to them while I was working and gave Vince a FUCT vest simply 'cause I thought it would be cool.
The fourth panel was supposed to be one panel of the s***ff, but I decided to split it in two to make it more interesting.
I tried to make the staff room shabby and unsafe. For example next to the door (at the top of the page) there's a table with a hot water machine next to a hi-fi. The fire exit is blocked off by a display board.
By the time I got to the seventh panel I was listening to The White Stripes hence the JW on the ash tray.
With the last panel, I didn't know what to do with the bear head that vincent is carrying while he was opening the door, so I just had him kick the f***ing thing.

Last page of the story, which I finished about a week ago but didn't get time to post it. Basically Wolverine f***s up Cyclops for eating his burger. A few notes: Think I could've made the top panels larger, hindsight's 20/20... RE the design of the kitchen, I tried not to make anything complicated and could be done quickly. I'm pretty sure if the X-Men had a kitchen it would be more innovative than this.
